#42 " Oil Plague

The way Tally and David describe the Rusties is accurate, but the focus on flaws way more than achievements.

Our weaknesses: We really too much on oil, andn don't protect our environment.

Their weaknesses: Everyone except people who need brains for work is a mindless zombie.

#41 "Maddy & Az"

Aircraft and midget submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy began an attack on the U.S. The Americans had deciphered Japan's code earlier and knew about a planned attack before it actually occurred. However, due to difficulty in deciphering intercepted messages, the Americans failed to discover Japan's target location before the attack occurred.[5] Under the command of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the attack was devastating in loss of life and damage to the U.S. fleet. At 06:05 on December 7, the six Japanese carriers launched a first wave of 183 planes composed mainly of dive bombers, horizontal bombers and fighters.[6] The Japanese hit American ships and military installations at 07:51. The first wave attacked military airfields of Ford Island. At 08:30, a second wave of 170 Japanese planes, mostly torpedo bombers, attacked the fleet anchored in Pearl Harbor. The battleship Arizona was hit with an armor piercing bomb which penetrated the forward ammunition compartment, blowing the ship apart and sinking it within seconds. Overall, nine ships of the U.S. fleet were sunk and 21 ships were severely damaged. Three of the 21 would be irreparable. The overall death toll reached 2,350, including 68 civilians, and 1,178 injured. Of the military personnel lost at Pearl Harbor, 1,177 were from the Arizona. The first shots fired were from the destroyer Ward on a midget submarine that had surfaced outside of Pearl Harbor; Ward did successfully sink the midget sub at approximately 06:55, about an hour before the assault on Pearl Harbor.

#40 "Run"

The fact that she even got away was a victory. So was the fact that she got some magazines that the boss saved. But over all she lost because now the smoke is gone, the Boss is dead, Shay doesn't trust her and she destroyed so many peoples lives.

#39

No Tally is not amazing beacause she is a big fat lier!!! She shouldn't have sold out her friend for anything, no matter what Peris said.

#38 "Run"

Well I think its David because if she got captured by Dr. Cable and the book ended . . . it would really be a bad book. So yeah, Davids a friend and he and Tally will probably go save smokies.

#36 "The Rabbit Pen"

Well DUH! She better side with the smoke! Even though Tally is a big fat lier she wouldn't sell out after all her and the smoke had been through. At least she better not.

#35 "Invasion"

OF COURSE THIS IS THE CLIMAX YOU NINNY!!! For one this is the time when Tally is reunited with special circumstances and all her wrong doing is shoved right is her face. Two this could lead to the end of the smoke which is BIG!!!Three. . . the "not read" section of the bok is getting teeny!

#34 "Burning Bridges"

Sister(Shannon): My sister is beautiful because she never lets other peoples expectations of what she should be cloud who she is. She never lets anyone tell her who she should be and anyone who tries gets a full serving of "who she is" right in the gut. (XD luv yooh sissy!!!)

Ginger: Ginger is beautiful because when she finds something she likes she will stay honest and true to it for a life time.

#32 "The Secret"

It tells you that since the sergery changes the way you look but not the genes you have children can't look like their parents in the present , but what they looked like before the surgery.

Pretty is the standard set for humans that is hardly ever perfectly achived. (blame the man!!!)

#33 "Pretty Minds"

Well, to me it means that when you become pretty it changes the way you really are into something deemed worthy and good by others.

Now honestly, I think its sick how many things people hate and want to change about themselves compared to things they actually like . . . but hey we all do it even me -_-'. I would make my hair straight for one. Also I would add SOME color to my skin besides pink and maybe take some extra fat away here and there. Other than those I'm gooood. OH AND I WANT TO BE 6 FEET TALL!(my brain is good thanks for asking)

#31 "Bravery"

Imagery "The orchids glowed with pale malevolence in the moonlight, a frozen sea against the dark forest shore." page 245
Personification "-choking the life out of other plants, out of soil itself, selfish and unstoppable." page 244
Simile "Without even trying, she'd shafted her best friend, like a walking poison, she killed everything." page 244

Of course! One beacause they could find out what she did. Two because she could find out things she really would rather NOT know. Finally Three, it would just be awkward.

#30 "suspicion"

Shay did have a right to be jealous. I mean she really likes David and now Tally cames around and sweeps him off his feet. Thats not fair, but alls fair in love and war. On the other hand she has no reason to get mad at Tally, it's not like she can control Davids feelings.

Hmmmm . . . no not really.

#29 "Hearthrob"

Because she wouldn't have seen how happy people were there and how much she would be ruining if she exposed them.

#28 "David"

They ran away because they knew something was strange about the mindless pretties.

"They reversed the opperation?"

#27 "work"

I think this picture is beautiful . . . except for the rocks. Just picture running across a snow white beach then all of the sudden you step on a pointy rock. I don't like rocks.

# 26 "the model"

I think Shay's description is right. I wouldn't really call it a disease though, its more like a really bad choice. they may have some aspects on our time wrong but the whole part about anerexia being ugly is true.

#25 Lies

I think this is a good representation of the smoke because it is a claered area and there are lots of tents.

  • big nose

  • hand made clothes

  • reminds Tally of a pretty

  • knows his way around the woods

  • graceful

  • has lived in the smoke his whole life
